Ask & Ask Mobile App

Ask.com still maintains millions of page visits everyday and has gone through many iterations over the years, with search being the historic focus. These mocks represent the first steps of Ask.com evolving into an SEO vertical that takes advantage of its domain authority. This new design maintains the search box (ability to search) as the central and anchoring focus, with daily engagement drivers like local weather and ‘question of the day’ below. The layout remains clean and easy to navigate with custom content templates for various editorial offerings ( i.e. movie reviews with score counter). I was the lead UX designer on this last iteration of this once iconic brand.

Ask Mobile App

The ask android app was never fully developed as business needs changed. The concept was to empower users to follow authors, bookmark/save articles and keep track of their question of the day statistics. The goal was to increase user interest as well as engagement with each article and further leverage the Ask brand to improve its SEO standings. I worked with my design team to develop a comprehensive mobile app. The prototype for this project can be found here
